Jonathan and Veruschka had been planning to renovate their kitchen for ten years and knew it was going to be a large, complex job. But with the help of
John Herbut from Balhannah Kitchens By Design they transformed their small, dark kitchen into a light-filled, spacious area that’s become the central focus of
the house.
When the couple first met with John he immediately adapted to their ideas as well as developed them beyond their expectations. “We were very pleased with the
way John listened carefully to our initial thoughts and then worked with us all the way through to develop these into the final design,” says Jonathan, “his
experience was evident at every stage but we were always closely involved in the dialogue.”
While looking for someone they wanted to work with, Jonathan and Veruschka asked tradespeople they knew who they would recommend. “John’s name came up in a
very short list,” says Jonathan.
Balhannah Kitchens provided the couple with a site installation schedule, which was very detailed with names and contacts of everyone involved. The couple
were impressed as the schedule was flexible as well as detailed. “Thanks to this level of planning and the fact that the people on the job co-ordinated together
so well, the kitchen was finished on time.”
Jonathan and Veruschka are extremely happy with the results. “The result is stunning. It really has exceeded our expectations in every respect. John has
created a marvellously spacious, practical kitchen using the existing floor plan in very creative ways, and the high quality of the work is evident
throughout.”
